Walvoil 3/8" BSP Hose Burst Valve Male/Female
The Hose Burst Valve is designed to automatically stop a sudden increase in flow, preventing hydraulic system failures and ensuring safe operation.
Under normal working conditions, the flow remains free in both directions. However, if there is a sudden surge in flow from port B to port A, the valve immediately shuts off to prevent system damage. An optional calibrated orifice can be integrated into the disk, allowing for controlled descent flow after the valve has closed. The flow control setting can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the S dimension.
For installation, the valve should be fitted into the appropriate cavity, ensuring port A is connected to the return line and port B to the actuator.
Built for durability and reliability, it features a zinc-plated steel body with low leakage performance. Optional configurations include metric threads, Male/Female or Female/Female body designs, and custom adjustments upon request. A special mounting tool is also available for easy installation.
