The AD3RI series is a range of automatic reciprocating valves designed to CETOP 3 standards, offering fully hydraulic operation for applications requiring automatic and continuous inversion of actuator direction based on system pressure.
These valves utilize the rise in system pressure to trigger the changeover, which occurs when pressure exceeds the calibrated setting of the inversion valve. This allows the inversion to happen at non-predetermined positions, ideal for applications where precise stroke-end detection isn't required.
At the end of the cylinder stroke, the maximum pressure relief valve should be set to a value 30% higher than the system operating pressure to ensure proper function. Additionally, the inverter valve’s pressure setting must be 15% lower than the relief valve setting, and 15% higher than the maximum system operating pressure to maintain optimal performance.
The valve can also be manually operated using a push-button emergency function, which requires a minimum actuator pressure of 3 bar to engage.
